Small 19thC French landscape painting
A diminutive antique landscape oil on board painting of the edge of a lake, mounted in a classically scrolling gilt frame. A very attractive little study that looks to be early 19thC, with remnants of antique French newspaper on the rear.

Condition:
Dirt and wear commensurate with age, the surface of the painting is quite dirty and may benefit from a light clean, but this also adds to the character and charm of the piece.
