Large antique Dutch oval ironstone tureen - Societe Ceramique
An antique oval white ironstone serving tureen, moulded with embossed floral decoration which scrolls into the handles. Complete with the original spoon notched lid, with the embossed floral motif continuing around the oval flower finial.
Produced by Dutch maker Societe Ceramique, Maestricht, with their black maker's mark beneath the foot.

Condition:
There is a firing crack from manufacture in the rim near one of the handles, along with age related crazing and wear but no damage.
