Antique Chess piece carved treen sugar mould - Dutch wooden chocolate mold

An antique Dutch treen sugar or chocolate mould, beautifully carved with impressions of the pieces of a chess set. Made of oak, which is dark polished to a nice, rich colour.

Some light age related wear, marks and patination, but very nice condition otherwise.
