Antique Polish faience pottery 1L pitcher - S.M. Chodziez
A rare antique 1 litre pitcher, made of white glazed faience pottery with a bold black 1L transfer beneath the pouring spout. Made by the Polish Chodziez factory between the wars.
The underside bears the green S.M. Chodziez mark dating between 1922 - 1936, which was when it was owned by Polish goldsmith Stanisław Mańczak.

Condition:
There are some tiny flea bites inside the rim, along with two chips, a bruise and some scraping to the glaze around the foot. Some age related crazing and wear is present, but overall it is a clean example of a rare jug in nice condition.
