Antique Dutch 1-1/2 liter pitcher - Societe Ceramique
An antique Dutch white ironstone banded pitcher, decorated with black under glaze stencil transfer ‘1 1/2 Liter’ lettering on the rim of the facing side.
Produced by Societe Ceramique of Maestricht, with their makers mark on the underside of the foot.

There is a stable hairline in the rim that runs down into the body near the handle, along with a small bruise/scrape inside the rim near the spout, and a surface star crack in the underside of the foot. Otherwise the pitcher is clean and still displays nicely.
